Congratulations to Emy Miller on breaking the school Digs and Service Receive Records.  

The West Bend West Volleyball Team has earned the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association and American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Academic Team Award for maintaining a collective 3.68 GPA during the 2024-2025 academic year. Six team members achieved perfect 4.0 GPAs: Maddie Abel, Kylee Altendorf, Avah Banks, Amelia Dubey, Pagie Guse, and Breleigh Ustruck. This prestigious recognition requires teams to maintain a minimum 3.4 GPA throughout the academic year.  Congratulations to our Spartan volleyball team. 

The National High School Coaches Association has selected Maddie Abel and Kylee Altendorf to the 2025 Academic All-American Team.  The award is given in recognition of excellence in both the classroom and athletics.  This award honors outstanding academic achievement and dedication to sportsmanship.  

Maddie was selected to the NHSCA Honorable Mention team and as a three-year starting setter who made West Volleyball history with 2438 assists, while maintaining a 3.64 GPA. Kylee was selected to the NHSCA Second Team and as a four-year starting outside hitter and also made West Volleyball history in three different categories with 1163 kills, 1203 digs, and 1454 service receiving while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

The Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association has awarded nine West Volleyball players the 2024 - 2025 All-Academic Individual Award.  The players had to demonstrate active participation on the team and complete the fall semester with a 3.5 GPA or higher. 

There were five players that maintained a perfect 4.0 - Maddie Able Kylee Altendorf, Avah Banks, Amelia Dubey, Paige Guse and Breleigh Ustruck.

The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is proud to announce the fourth annual AVCA Best and Brightest Awards for Girls High School Senior student-athletes. The AVCA Best & Brightest Award is an award meant to honor individual high school Senior student-athletes who excel on and off the court. 

Kylee Altendorf, Avah Banks and Paige Guse were selected to the First Team.  Maddie Abel was selected to the Second Team.

Maddie Abel and Kylee Altendorf have been honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association by being selected to the All-American High School Watch List.  Kylee is an outside hitter who has a career of 847 kills, 979 digs, 96 ace serves and 84 blocks.  Maddie Abel is a setter who has a career of 1637 Assists, 525 digs, 90 kills, and 52 ace serves.

The American Volleyball Coaches of America (AVCA) announced that the West Bend West High School volleyball team was awarded the AVCA Team Academic Award for maintaining a 3.6 team GPA (on a 4.0 scale) for the 2023-2024 school year. In fact, five players on the team earned a perfect 4.0 GPA for the full academic year: Maria Olson, Kylee Altendorf, Avah Banks, Paige Guse, and Morgan Winkler. 

More than 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball programs maintained a year-long grade point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale to earn the award for their classroom excellence during the recently completed academic year. This is a record number of volleyball programs to earn the AVCA Team Academic Award, which is sponsored by INTENT.

The National High School Coaches Association honors the nation’s finest 2024 student athletes as High School Academic All-Americans representing 22 sports. Kylee Altendorf has been selected as one of the very best academic student athletes in the country who has maintained a 4.0 GPA. As a three-year starting varsity member of the West Bend West volleyball team, she led her team during the 2023 season with 338 kills, 331 digs, and 97% serving accuracy.  

The Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association has announced that several of the West Bend West Volleyball players were selected for the  2023-2024 WVCA All-Academic Individual honors.  The players must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA for the 2023 Fall semester and be an active member of the team. Of the nine players, four of them earned a perfect 4.0 GPA. The following players have achieved this honor; Front Row Maddie Abel.Emy Miller, Kylee Altendorf, Paige Guse.
